International Student Awards and Financial Aid

海角社区 is dedicated to ensuring that all students have equal access to higher learning. As a result of this mandate there are support services and programs in place like financial assistance to make that happen.

There are a wide variety of ways to fund your education as an international student. Unless otherwise stated, all full-time and part-time students are eligible for Entrance and In-Course awards as long as they meet the published criteria.

For International students applying to the Master's in Development Practice: Indigenous Development, please note that all accepted International students will be offered a generous bursary of $8 000 for full-time students and $5 000 for part-time students. Entrance Awards

Entrance awards are directed to students that are attending 海角社区 for the first time. You could be a high school student, a college or university transfer student, or a mature student coming back to study. Generally you apply to these awards when you apply for admission.

The President's Scholarship for World Leaders

These scholarships will be given to international students who are entering any of the University’s divisions for the first time – Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) or English Language Program (ELP). Applicants must be involved in activities that demonstrate leadership

In-Course Awards

In-Course awards are directed to students who are currently attending 海角社区 and who are in Second, Third or Fourth year. Generally you apply to these awards in the Fall term after you have enrolled in classes.

EducCanada

supports the international education offerings of Canada’s provinces and territories and is the result of collaboration between the provinces and territories through the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) and Global Affairs Canada. 

The EduCanada website provides information to international students about studying in Canada. You can search for study programs, get cost estimates and learn about study permit requirements.

Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED)

The Canada-ASEAN SEED brings undergraduate and graduate students from eligible countries to Canada to study and conduct research, for 4-6 months. Proposed projects must contribute to the realization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the developing countries of ASEAN.
