Susan Maxson

Susan Maxson has spent much of her life working in development with people primarily in Africa. She also has been exposed to some of the challenges of the indigenous people in northern Mexico, as well as in Canada.

Her areas of interest include equity of opportunity, economics, livelihood and creating structures and networks needed to produce sustainable development. Maxson is specifically interested in urban migration. She hopes the MDP will give her the tools to enable aboriginals and other marginal peoples to thrive with a reasonable share of the world’s resources, and gain a powerful voice.
