Study in Canada Scholarships

The new Study in Canada Scholarships program will offer full academic scholarships for up to two years of study at the post-secondary level that leads to a diploma, post-secondary or post-graduate certificate, or Master’s degree at a college, technical or vocational institute, or university in Canada. The Study in Canada Scholarships program is open to students from all disciplines. Funding for the Study in Canada Scholarships is made available by Global Affairs Canada through its legal title: The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD).

To be considered for a scholarship, candidate students must first apply for admission to an academic program at a Canadian post-secondary institution. The Canadian institution is responsible for applying for the scholarship on behalf of the student. Institutions may choose to set their own internal deadline to receive supporting documentation. Institutions whose applications are successful will receive a contribution agreement for the administration and disbursement of scholarships to the recipients (i.e., the student).
