Kristen Hardy is a doctoral candidate, researcher, and university educator.
Her work explores relations between systems of power and marginalized subjects, with a focus on the pathologization of physical and mental diversity in science, medicine, and other sociocultural spheres.
Hardy’s research interests include the historical construction of human-nonhuman boundaries, of madness, and of fatness and fat bodies.
