About:
Dr. Blair Jamieson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at 海角社区. He received his PhD from the University of British Columbia and his main interests include experimental subatomic physics, statistically sound precision measurements, fundamental symmetries and tests of the standard model.
Jamieson is also interested in developing new detectors, and has worked on the large volume Time Projection Chambers (TPC)s for the near detector of T2K. His research program is working toward further understanding the properties of fundamental particles. In particular, he is involved in neutrino oscillation studies with the Tokai to Kamioka experiment in Japan, is planning for a next generation mega-ton scale water cerenkov detector (Hyper-Kamiokande) and is studying the neutron electric dipole moment using ultra cold neutrons.
